Salsa 2

A continuation from Salsa 1, this 12-week course brings your salsa to the next level! Emphasis on new steps and patterns that will add variety and flair to your dancing. A great new figure or combination each week. No partner necessary (prerequisite: must have salsa basics including left & right turns, crossbody lead and inside turn).

Beginner Bachata and Merengue

Great beginner dances - also a great complement for Salsa dancers.  Hailing from the Dominican Republic, both these dances exude the sunny warmth of a hotter climate!!  Characterized by its "cuban hip motion" and pretzel-like arm turns and wraps, Merengue is also one of the easiest dances to learn!  Bachata is a romantic Latin dance - its music sometimes referred to as "the blues" of Latin music!  Learn both in this 8-week introductory course at Dance Conmigo. $60/person.  No partner necessary.  To see a teacher-student demo of Bachata, click here.

Beginner Rueda

Rueda is the Spanish word for "wheel". It is an exciting form of Cuban-style salsa that is danced in a circle (or "wheel") with two or more couples. Maman, Bébé et Salsa

Mothers who are looking for some fun and exercise to enjoy WITH their babies love these classes! Learn salsa and other Latin dances with your baby wrapped on your belly! (AzureWraps available for borrow or sale on site - see www.azurewraps.com) Babies love the music and motion, moms love the dancing and develop friendships with other moms.

Courses are offered at Maman, Bébé et Café - NDG's wonderful new café for parents and their children.
