Salsa 3

A continuation from Salsa 2, this course will introduce new figures, patterns, styling and footwork to enhance the student's dancing skill and expand their understanding and comfort with the dance. A great new figure or combination each week. No partner necessary (prerequisite: must have strong salsa basics including a clear comfort with inside turns).

Casino Rueda

Rueda is the Spanish word for "wheel". It is an exciting form of Cuban-style salsa that is danced in a circle (or "wheel") with two or more couples. Afro-Cuban Dance with Tito Salsabor

During the slave era, the Africans who were transported to Cuba brought with them theirculture, their beliefs and their rituals as well as their music, songs and dances. Through this 8-week session students will acquire a knowledge and ability of the different music and dance influences as well as develop their sense of rhythm and musicality. A highly energetic and dynamic course, these classes will also serve as good conditionning for those looking to get in shape.

Beginner Bachata and Merengue

Great beginner dances - also a great complement for Salsa dancers.  Hailing from the Dominican Republic, both these dances exudethe sunny warmth of a hotter climate!!  Characterized by its "cuban hip motion" and pretzel-like arm turns and wraps, Merengue is also one of the easiest dances to learn!  Bachata is a romantic Latin dance - its music sometimes referred to as "the blues" of Latin music!  Learn both in this intensive course at Dance Conmigo.
