Beginner West Coast Swing 1

Smooth, sleek and sophisticated - West Coast Swing is the "must know" dance for anyone who loves pop, soul, funk, top 40 or rhythm n blues! Danced on a wide variety of music, this versatile dance can be slow and sexy with lots of improvisation - or sharp and spectacular with dramatic spins and breaks. Learn the basics in this introductory session - including the fundamentals that will allow you to easily pick up new patterns. A continuation from Beginner West Coast Swing, this session is designed to reinforce and build on strong basics. Learn more about musicality and technique as you get introduced to more advanced figures and "cool moves"! Early Bird deadline is Thurs, April 15th to pay just $15/workshop or to obtain the $75 workshop package. After April 15, the workshop package will not be available and the cost per workshop goes to $20 - cash only - at the door.

Learn one-on-one (or as a couple) with reknown WCS instructor and judge Jennifer DeLuca.

Special Sessions, Sunday April 25-

Session 1: noon-1pm: Girls Gone Wild (ladies ONLY!)
Session 2: 1pm-2pm: Critique Session (from a judge's perspective, Jennifer gives feedback on how to improve one's dancing after one couple at a time demos their dancing. An invaluable learning experience whether you dance yourself or learn from the feedback given to others.)

Cost: $10/session cash or cheque. $12/session if you pay online (credit card or paypal)
