…August 15th, Loree and David perform there “First Dance”…One More Time!

As part of its “Grass Roots” tour, feature film “Love N’ Dancing” hit the big screen in Montreal at Dance Conmigo – for one night only – Saturday, July 25th, 2009. Featuring cameos by several of today’s top West Coast Swing dancers, this delightful dance film tells the story of fictional former dance champion Jake Mitchell and his decision to return to the competition circuit with one of his most talented students.

The film’s screening was followed by a short dance party featuring a music mix of salsa, cha-cha, rumba, merengue, bachata, swing and of course West Coast Swing. After having seen the film, the formerly unconverted, now know that West Coast Swing is Montreal’s next big thing!! Gotta learn it!

Dance Conmigo “represents” at the 2nd annual TOSDC – a great weekend of West Coast Swing workshops, parties and competitions featuring top-level instructors – including San Diego’s Michael & Dawne Kiehm and Mary Ann Nunez from Southern California.

Thank you and congratulations to the students who represented Dance Conmigo at march 21st 2009 Danse Elite Competition! Archana danced Slow Waltz competing in the Pro-Am division with Alain. Claire also competed with Alain in the Pro-Am division, dancing the Rumba and West Coast Swing! Both took first place in their respective categories!! (Pictured is Alain and Archana).
